Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Policy covers the global Android App on Google Play only. It does not cover mainland China editions, iOS builds, or websites that publish their own policies.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you register or sign in on Android, we may collect your email address, nickname, avatar, and authorized Google account information from Google Sign-In. A guest / anonymous identifier may be used before you link an email or Google account.

2.2 Feature data

Plans, tasks, schedules, anniversaries, habits, focus sessions, reminders, statistics, preferences, membership status, and other content you create or use in the App.

2.3 Device and log data

Device model, Android OS version, app version, network status, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token, crash / diagnostic logs, and local notification or alarm settings needed to run the App securely and reliably.

2.4 Images and media

Avatars, plan images, and memorial-board photos you choose to upload. On Android we use the system Photo Picker when available and do not request broad media-library read access for that flow.

2.5 Shipping information (optional)

Recipient name, phone number, and shipping address — only if you voluntarily submit them for prize delivery or address management.

2.6 Purchase information

When you buy subscriptions or in-app products via Google Play Billing (through RevenueCat), we may process purchase / entitlement status, product identifiers, and related transaction metadata needed to unlock features. Payment card details are handled by Google Play; we do not collect your full payment card number.

2.7 Information we do not actively collect

We do not actively collect contacts, SMS, call logs, precise continuous location trails, or biometrics unrelated to core features, unless we obtain your explicit consent for a future feature.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide core services: account auth, cloud sync, planning, reminders, and related features.
• Send plan due reminders via on-device local notifications / alarms; with your notification permission, send remote service alerts (e.g. when someone joins a shared plan) via FCM.
• Process Google Play purchases and restore membership entitlements.
• Improve stability and experience using diagnostic and aggregated usage signals.
• Protect security: authentication, abuse prevention, and anomaly detection.
• Respond to feedback and comply with applicable law.

4. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region (for example under the GDPR), we process personal data on one or more of these bases: performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (optional permissions such as notifications or photos), and legal obligation.

5. Storage, Security, and Retention

We store personal information with appropriate technical and organizational measures (including encryption and access controls). Cloud data for the global edition is primarily processed via our international infrastructure (Supabase). We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy and as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

6. Sharing and Sale of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the App (see Section 9), or when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a corporate transaction where the recipient remains bound by equivalent protections.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can manage many preferences in the App or in Android system settings (notifications, etc.).

After deletion we remove associated cloud account data, subject to any legally required retention.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction to consent to online services without parental approval). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Android Permissions (examples)

• Notifications: local plan reminders and optional remote FCM alerts.
• Internet / network: sync, sign-in, and cloud features.
• Photos / media (on demand): only when you pick or save images for app features.
• Alarms / exact alarms (where used): on-device plan due reminders.

You can revoke optional permissions in Android Settings; some features may then be unavailable.

10. Third-Party Services (Android)

We use the following providers to operate the global Android App. They process data only as needed for their services and under their own privacy terms.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the dates at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
